...sorry with all of the question regarding this, I'm just still trying to get the hang of it. Ok,so we have the crib pressed up against our bed. (Yes, we still co-sleep. I'm one of THOSE mom's.) Do you think OUR breathing and movements affect the sensor pad and it thinks that our breathing and movements are the baby's?

Re: Those with an Angelcare monitor..
My guess is yes, it does pick up your movements too. Probably not breathing, tho.
If baby is in his own crib, I wouldn't consider that really "co sleeping." Just move the crib a few inches away from your bed. Problem solved.
Yes it does. I did a test and when I stood next to the crib w/o dd in the crib, the alarm did not go off.
All you did was just stand next to the crib and it didn't go off???

Yes, I stood right by the crib.
Oh and I am sure I was moving, not standing still though but it was a while ago that I did this. Test it out, have dh take lo in the other room, keep the monitor on while u lay in bed by the crib. See what happens.
