Hi there. I'm usually on another board but thought it would be good to introduce myself on the local board too. I'm a newer mom - I have a 7 month old DS. I am enjoying every minute and I love being a mother. I have been married to DH for almost 5 years and we moved from the city to the west suburbs a a little over a year ago.

We moved to Bloomingdale. Those in the western burbs - where are you at? I too noticed that this board seems to be slower. Hopefully we can pick it up a bit.

I'm in the western burbs too. There was a post a few months ago about a GTG. My peanut is just over a week old so we're not venturing out in crowds yet, but a GTG in a month or so would be great!
