    I've tried a few things, and all the tricks to get them to "stick".  All he wants when he sleeps is his pacifier, and an extra one (or three) to hold in his hand lol.

    Ha, ditto freeburger! The only lovey DS wants is an extra paci. He won't sleep without one in his mouth and one in his hand. (But doesn't use them otherwise.)

    We really didn't offer it, she just kind of picked it. I had a few stuffed toys I'd give her to hold when she was nursing and in the grabby phase (got tired of having her grab at my face!), and she just started wanting a certain one of them at other times, then became more attached to it.
