Decease in dirty diapers around 5-6 weeks?

Happened to us too. He now only has 1 every day or every other day. And they are massive!

Is he BF? BF babies have a decrease in dirty diapers around 6 weeks. DS decreased around then and now has one every 2-3 days. I haventhaf to change a dirty diaper in 3 weeks. He saves them all for my mom! (she watches DS during the week)

THIS! Ryan poops around once or twice a day and it is SO MUCH poop at a time.

Same thing happend to us - dr said once the digestive system matures - they poop less!!! My DS went from like 7 a day for the first 3 weeks to about 1 a day now at 6 weeks. Hope this helps

I EBF and around 5 weeks, DD went to pooping 1-2 times a week. We aren't having the BIG poops folks have been mentioning either. Our pedi is fine with this as long as there are no signs of distress. Love less poopie diapers.
