Iphone App

Ok, I found the coolest app for my iphone.

You can download for 99 cents an app that is called white noise. It plays all types of white noise and even has a timer. It's been great for us and all of the travel we have been doing lately... I just plug the phone in to make sure it doesn't die and put it on airport mode to make sure it doesn't ring in the middle of the night!

Just a little thing for those people out there that have an iphone!

Re: Iphone App

  • A friend told me about one, I think it's called "Tickle the Bear" or something like that.  Baby can tickle the bear on the screen and it will move and laugh. My friends 7 month old loves it.

  • Thanks for the suggestion!  For fun time with DD, she loves Baby Piano.  Keeps her entertained while I'm making dinner which is really nice!

  • OMG I am an Iphone app freak.  I probably spend WAY too much money on them, but here are my absolute favs:

World of Lullabies:  You can choose from like 10 different lullabies.  The only annoying thing is the sound it makes when you are clicking through the options.  I have no idea how much it was though.

Baby Soothe:  It's a bunch of different sounds like waterfall, brook, waves, rain, heartbeat, etc., but you can put multiple sounds on at once.  I have found that turning on brook and the chirping bird one soothes Chace a lot.  And you can set it to turn off anywhere from 1 minute to 90 minutes.  It was $0.99.

White Noise Baby:  It is the typical white noise app with a timer, but it has this random "rattle" feature that has 4 colorful balls that move all over the screen and makes a noise (sounds like the Plinko game on Price is Right) and Chace will literally watch it forever.  He "talks" to it and smiles and laughs.  It's pretty cool.  It was either $0.99 or free, I'm not sure.

And get this for sure.  App search "smart ICE" and it's one of the first ones that come up.  I think it's $0.99 and it says ICE on the icon.  You input all your emergency contacts, personal info, etc.  I moved the icon so it is right next to the contacts icon.  My uncle is a firefighter and told me that in an emergency they will check for an ICE button or ICE number in your contacts.  Just a good one to have Smile
