That's how many times Chris hit, kicked, punched or bit today. :-X His Social Worker was here for an hour and caught a 45 minute temper tantrum complete with kicking and punching of me.

She and his Physical Therapist are suggesting a bean bag chair may also help give him some sensory imput that he needs. He's not able to sooth himself and as a result has started hitting me to calm himself down. He's also doing it after being told "no" or when I'm not paying attention to him. Or when I don't understand what he wants. So....that's pretty much all day every day.

His social worker suggested that I start keeping track of how many times he is aggressive like that to take documentation to the developmental ped on Monday.  Funny since I had told DH last night I was going to.  Tomorrow I'm adding how long the tantrums are lasting.


I need a break!

    I am so sorry you had such a rough day.  Hopefully today will be better.

    Good luck w/ the tracking, that really does sound like a good idea.
