Fast Start or something like that for ? KY Girls

Grant's pedi reco'd him to be evaulated by Fast Start or something like that b/c he is missing several milestones (sitting up from a laying position, pincher grasp, no consenants when "babbling", no crawing etc.) SOoo is there anyone in specific I should try to get? I know you all are well connected so I am hoping someone can give me some info

All in all I am not overly concerend that he is missing these milestones (yet). I just don't think he is movtivated!

We'll see what this evaluations says.

I am hoping they'll teach me some activities I can work wih him on to help him progress.

PS as for the sitting up thing, what did pedi mean by laying to sitting, b/c I he can go from belly, to knees to sitting...does that count?

Hey Tiff, it is First Steps - that is who I work for :-) Let me know if you have any questions. Their number is on the website that Katie provided. If he ends up needing speech therapy, you can ask for me if you want or I can give you suggestions for some providers in all areas (you have a choice of who you want if they have openings at the time). Definitely worth looking into at least!

Thanks for the info and links ladies! The pedi faxed a referal so I should be hearing from them next week, then from there who knows how long it will take, hopefully not long!
