I'm so excited for a snow day all together! We're making Snow Ice Cream and baking cookies and snow angels and snowmen and watching movies and playing games and staying in pjs all.day.long. And maybe taking a nap with the kids:) I can't wait!!
I am SO jealous of your plans! DH is at work and I am snowed in with my 3 1/2 year old, 21 month old, and 3 week old children. I can't take the older ones sledding or out to play in it which is killing them but the baby is too little to be out in this. DH will take them tomorrow. I'm just trying to keep them busy and happy today. Not a fun day here!

Oh, no! That definitely doesn't sound as fun:( Can you scoop up some snow in big bowls from outside and let them play with it? Or make this with some snow? Or boot on boots and hats and play in the "snow" in blankets inside?? Poor mommy - that's definitely a long day!
I'm stuck in the house with a 19 month old, if we take him out, we may lose him, and I'm doing laundry. DS and DSD are outside shoveling. The good part since I broke my wrist 10 weeks 12 weeks ago, I'm still on lifting restriction so no shoveling for me.
I may make some brownies for the shovelers and making roast chicken, mashed potatos, stuffing for dinner.

I actually kept them busy making cut outs of eyes, noses, hats, etc for the snowmen they will build with Daddy tomorrow. Great ideas though... thanks! We are watching a movie right now and then lunch and after that naps for everyone except me and my oldest. I think we'll make some banana muffins to keep busy.

This is the one thing I like about living in an apartment for now. They do the shoveling for us!
LOL about losing your child. I thought I was going to lose my yellow lab when I took her out back. It's up to her shoulders!
I am cooking some things for the Super Bowl party we're HOPEFULLY having tomorrow. We were supposed to go to the Hershey Bears game tonight but that's already been cancelled.
