I think a 12 year old would be nice. Live in babysitter, know how to do chores, they can home school here, so no worries about driving them all over for activities. I don't mind buying himher clothes at the thrift and feeding them. Heck, if they help as much as they do on TV, I would even love them!

funny! i have to share this with the DH. we noticed that they are such good caregivers at like 12 years old.
