We bought a home dopler and we don't use it very often because I read somewhere that they don't know if you use it to often if it effects the baby or not so just every once in a while we will use it.
We haven't used it in about 3 or 4 weeks so I told DH I wanted to see if we could find it because I keep feeling what I think is movement and I want to see if that is where baby was.
Every other time we have used it we really had to search for the heartbeat, today we put it on my belly and 10 seconds later we found it. DH's face just lit up and then he all of a sudden he got serious and took it off and was said 'Okay we are done we don't want to hurt it'.
It was really cute how he could go from excited to scared in just a matter of a minute! ![]()
Re: AW: Listened to the home dopler
Aww. So cute.
FYI: a lot of the cheaper home "dopplers" you buy on line (like Angelsounds, for one) are actually just amplifiers- no more harmful than using a stethoscope. So do a little research- yours may not be an actual doppler at all, in which case: listen away!
ETA: Hey, you aren't too far away from me! I live in the Redding area.
