I have to check with the doc next week to see her thoughts, but I'd like to TTC again in the fall (DD will be about 10 months). DH wants to wait until DD is 2 1/2. So obviously, we have some talking to do! LOL
We're thinking 8 months. I'm not working right now so I've moved to DH's insurance. the MW's who I was with this pg do not take his insurance so I'd really like to not get pg before DH can switch insurances during the open enrollment period in Dec. (seriously, why can't we switch insurances throughout the whole year??? makes NO sense to me.) boo...
Otherwise it'd probably be sooner. ohh well. )

As soon as my OB says it's okay (and the LC at my Ped's office tells us how this whole thing is gonna work). DH is 39 and we want 6...so we've gotta get moving.
We were planning on starting to try again around August or September because I would like to have the 2nd baby when the weather is warmer. It was horrible being stuck indoors for most of my 8 weeks because it was so dang cold outside. But, at my 6 week appointment my dr. told me she doesn't even want me to think about getting pregnant for at least a year because I had such a rough delivery...so I guess we will wait a year!

At first I want to wait for DD to be 2 to start TTC but like a week ago I started wanting to TTC now I told DH and he said I was nuts!! So now I guess I'm back to waiting till DD is 2. booo!!

Awesome! I don't know about you, but I always get the or the kind of reactions when I tell people that. It's what I was expecting here. Good to know DH and I aren't the only ones.
We were going to TTC when DS is around 12 months but decided to wait till about 2 years because we'd like to move to my hometown before that and the soonest we can do that will be closer to 2 years.
I would like to start trying again with DD is 1 to 1 1/2 years old. DH wants to wait until she is 3 or 4 years! lol We'll meet in the middle somewhere, I hope!
We plan on TTC#2 around August.. Aidan will be 9 months old then. I'd like to have then around 2 years apart.

I'm surprised they won't let you. Most insurances allow you to change if there is a status change like a pregnancy.
Not that soon for us! Our first two are 13 months apart and it's a challenge to have a 1 year old and a newborn wanting your attention at the same time. It's not as bad as people tend to imagine, but it's not easy. The two year age gap between our second and third is much easier. We're planning on having my IUD out December 2011 or January 2012. If at all possible, we'd like that one to be born between September and December since we're set on clothes. So far our plans have worked out, but who knows if it will then.

We are thinking we would like for them to be between 2.5-3 years apart...mainly for finiancal reasons...which really sucks. But I am thinking I like the idea of having time to focus on just DS for a couple of years. And we are thinking we want 3 (or atleast 3).

I would like to start sooner rather then later since it took us a little over a year to concieve due to my PCOS but we need to get a better place to live and a bigger car before we have another LO so it may be longer then I would like- I was hoping to start TTC when DD is 12 months but we will see what next year brings us

Oh definately! My family is the worst! They don't really seem to believe us. ; p

THIS! I only have 2 but they are also 13 months apart (spoosed to be 14.5 months apart but DD2 was a preemie). If we have another girl we will be set on clothes .
We won't be preventing but DS was a result of IVF so I don't think it will happen soon. We will likely use our frozen embryo next winter or spring when DS is a little over a year and then go through IVF if needed in the summer when he is 1 1/2.
"Normal day, let me be aware of the treasured day you are. Let me learn from you, love you, bless you before you depart...let me hold you while I may."
I'm all for not having another winter baby. I would like to summer baby next time, mainly b/c I'm a teacher. We're not thinking of TTC until DS is about 2-3 yrs old. We want to enjoy him a bit.
