WMs - How do you spend your Fri nights?

It seems like as of late we've all been too tired from the week and i hate to push it further with DS so we usually stay home. Do you do anything special or cook any thing special?

maybe tonight I'll suggest happy hour at the local mexican restaurant to DH. Toddler and Happy Hour? Sounds like a perfect mix to me!

Normally I get the house to myself while DH goes out with his buds, or we'll both stay in. I'm usually completely pooped by Friday and am completely worthless. My couch is my best-friend!

When I was in the office 5 days a week, we did take out or went out to eat. I WAH on Fridays now, so I usually make a big dinner. Sometimes we have movie night with the kids and I make them popcorn and we watch a kids movie together in sleeping bags on the family room floor.

We chill. Rent movies or watch some we already have. Maybe order a pizza. It's great.

Tonight we are each going out with friends. If we do this (maybe once a month), we usually come home by 10. The other three Fridays a month, we get the kids and eat dinner at a casual place nearby, put the kids to bed and hang out together and watch tv or play cards.

We do nothing! It's great to spend time together, hang out on the couch, do a little light cleaning, laugh and giggle. DS goes down around 6:30, so we still don't have much time with him on Fridays, but at least we can spend that time without the stress of another work day looming. So, in short, we're lame. lol.

Lately, we have dinner with our boys then take them for a drive to see airplanes land and take-off at the airport. DH and I get coffee at the drive-through Starbucks and the boys get milk and "mommy-cake" which is the Starbuck's pumpkin bread.

Friday nights are our stay in date nights. We order Chinese (always the same thing and share both), watch a movie and either play the Wii, a computer game or a board game.

We save our energy for the weekend when we really let loose and have fun.

we try to do something fun as a family and then if we can get the girls to bed on time (well, the baby, i mean) we watch a movie together. big fans of netflix!

We normally just stay home on Friday nights. I make dinner and we watch a movie or catch up on shows on the DVR. Tonight DH is out of town so DD and I will just be hanging out. She didn't sleep well last night so I bet that she will be in bed by 8 at the latest. I plan on reading my new book tonight and drinking at least one or two glasses of wine.

Typically, we stay home. Nothing special for dinner and re-runs on tv. But tonight we're going to the Seafood and Wine Festival, so I'm excited about that. It's also the first time we're having a baby-sitter (not family) watch DD. It's her daycare teacher, but still...

We either stay in, or visit with my sister's family. She's got a daughter a few weeks younger than DD and a son who is 18 months older. They all go to daycare together so it's like they're cousins who are best friends and love hanging out after "school".

family fun night

usually we cook something easy together.... like getting the prepped pizza dough and toppings and making individual pizzas.... we'll either watch a movie together or play a game... chutes and ladders... candyland....

chill! it seems to be turning into our pizza night on Friday's. we let Carson stay up about 30 minutes later and then chill/hang out the rest of the night. either watch a movie or tv.
