Does your reflux med cause gassiness in baby

DD is on Ranitidine and Metoclopradmide - not sure if its the meds or what but she started this med on Tuesday.

    My DS's reflux med caused constipation, which can also cause gas.  He was horribly uncomfortable (even more than the reflux), so we stopped it.

    Yes.  DD just started Ranitidine on Tuesday and has been gassier than normal since.  I'll take that over the spit up, choking and back arching any time.

    The Ranitidine caused constipation/gas for DS, and it was awful. We cut his dose in half and things are great. His reflux is even controlled just fine. However, I also pumped like crazy and increased my BM production, which may have helped reduce the problems (now about 1/2 his diet is BM).
