Re: she wants to eat every hour...

  • I am sorry I have no advice since DD has been doing the same thing since 11 pm last night.

  • same thing here for during the day. nighttime is better, usually!
  • I am glad that I am not the only one going through this today.  I just told DH that DD has been grazing all morning.

  • Are you BF'ing?  My DD did the same thing at two weeks.  I wasn't making enough milk and she was screaming every hour to eat again, but I had nothing left to give.  It was pure hell...but pure bliss once we figured it out and gave her a bottle of formula.  This momma's body just doesn't make milk like it's suppose to.  Good luck!  I have to supplement and I'm A-ok with it as long as she's growing.

This is common at 2 weeks. It should only last about 24 hours at most. Just hang in there.

oh goodness i hope so.  thanks!

  • We're dealing with this too. I know it's pretty common for babies to have their growth spurts at 2 and 3 weeks, so everything will work itself out. Just keep trying to feed her on demand; your breastmilk supply should be able to keep up. Also, I'm grateful when our DD does this during the day rather than every hour at night!
  • I'm dealing with this too but its been more than 24 hours! I miss my sleep!
  • We're in the same boat!  DS #2 hasn't let me get off the couch or get dressed today.  I feel like my boobs have been out all day!  lol

I'm really hoping that he gets this out of his system today so that we can celebrate DS #1's 2nd b-day tomorrow!

  • We went through the same thing. It'll get better - hang in there!
