These early morning wake ups are slowly killing me. We put LO down for the night at 7. We have tried puting her down later but it's more of a struggle for her to go to sleep and she still wakes up super early.
We leave her in her bassinet next to the bed and I repeatedly put her soother back in, turn on her glow seahorse, etc. She NEVER falls back to sleep. Around 6:15ish she gets cranky so I put her in bed with us where she just chatters or gets mad.
Are we destined to be up this early? Any tips to get them to sleep longer? TIA
Re: Any tips for getting LO to sleep in later than 5:30?
If my LO wakes any time after 6 then I give her a feed, paci and we snuggle for a bit. That usually gets us another 2 hours at least.
If it's before 6 I figure out what she needs and soothe her back to sleep in her room/crib.

No idea. We have just trained ourselves to go to bed within an hour of putting her down. So that means I have an 8pm bedtime most nights! I hate that, but I feel more rested in the mornings now.
You do what you have to do! Just remember that this won't last forever! Sleep stages go in cycles.
