Hi from California - Need city recs please

Hi everyone.  I was hoping to get some recommendations for city's to live in.  We currently live in Southern California.  My DH was just offered a job in Suffern, New York which is near the NJ border so we are leaning toward living in NJ.  We would like to live with in 20 miles of the NJ/NY border. 

Do any of you have any recs for cities to live in?  Thanks so much for your help :)

    Hi!
    There are a lot of great towns just over the NJ border in northern Bergen County.  Defintiely check out Ramsey, Allendale, Wyckoff, and Mahwah.  All would be a breeze in the morning for a commute (of course, taking into consideration some back roads).  But all of these little towns are great communities and many still have a "main street".  Good luck with your search!

    Ditto.  My personal favorite is Ramsey, but all the other towns mentioned are very nice towns and that will be an easy commute.  Best of Luck!

    Will you be buying?  Your budget will help determine town recs.  Tons of nice, high-end towns in Bergen County.
