OB apptointment tomorrow...

It's just for my annual exam, but it will be my first appointment since my post-partum one.  I plan on asking about my future baby-bearing and what the likelyhood of pre-e/preemie would be.  We are supposed to get a big snow storm tomorrow, so I hope I can still get there.

Let me know if you think there are any must-ask questions.  My pre-e/delivery was a COMPLETE surprise, so I didn't have the opportunity to ask questions and do research.

    my mfm had me tested for anti-phospholipid (sp?) syndrome as this can cause pre-e and it came back neg. for me but may be worth asking about. Also mfm said my pre-e (#1) and pih (#2) were due to placental abnormality and may be helped by taking baby asparin when if we decide to get pg again. So again may want to ask about that.

    No advice, just good luck!  Keep us posted about what your OB says.  I'm particularly curious since I also had pre-e.

    i have APS... and if you know ahead of time about any of the clotting disorders you can get on a blood thinner/aspirin regimen for future pregnancies to reduce the risk of miscarriage or preemie delivery.

    good luck!! (and remember to do your own research too... i've heard so many conflicting stats on all this stuff.. it's best to learn what you can and make an informed decision.)

    Thanks for all the tips!  Unfortunately, my OB's office is closing due to the snow storm rolling in.  We are rescheduled for the 15th.
