Last night I was lying in bed and noticed a rumbling/vibration feeling deep in my mid-abdomen. It didn't really feel like "gas" or like any other sensation I've ever had before. Lasted less than a minute and I haven't felt anything like that since then.
Was that the baby? I'm almost 16 weeks so it's possible at this point (I think).
Re: Did I feel the baby?
Married and it feels so good!
Heck yeah it coulda been! You'll know for sure when you start feeling it more.
I first felt Hadley at 11w, like a little popping bubble. You could feel/see her from the outside at about 15w. It's earlier than most, but totally possible so I'd say that's probably what you're feeling.
It's amazing, isn't it? I don't enjoy her kicks quite so much now.
I don't know if I'd say it was "twitchy"...it was more rumbly/vibration. It was a continuous feeling for a good 15 to 30 seconds.
I do think the baby must be moving around more because I have to move the home doppler around to new locations to find the heartbeat. Up until about a week ago, the baby heartbeat was almost always in the same place on my abdomen.
In my bag: Canon 60D, 50mm 1.4, Tamron 28-75 2.8, 430exii
Hmm...I'll have to pay close attention and see if it happens again.
Maybe I should try eating a lot of sugar and caffeine...
That sounds exactly like my first experience feeling the baby. At first I wasn't sure, it was like nothing I'd felt before, wasn't feeling it consistently, and it was tough to pick a way to describe it. But "rumbly vibration" is really good, so I think that's it. It's only going to get so much better as time goes on and the sensations get more frequent and start to vary. I had no idea how amazing it was going to be. Happy for you!
PS: I also had the first, slightest sensations at 15 weeks but didn't realize/admit it was for sure the baby until 16 weeks on the dot.
Make sure, during the next few weeks, to lay on your back and watch your tummy. You may start to see the baby move soon! I first saw my belly jump at 18 weeks on the dot. DH hadn't even felt him on the outside yet! It's almost cooler than feeling it.
