Baby Shower

So my SIL is throwing a baby shower on Feb 20. I don't think she has sent out the invites yet...unless she isn't sending one to me. Thats only 2 weeks away...I'm nervous if they don't get sent out soon people won't have enough notice to be able to come. What should I do?

    I'm not sure anyone has ever bothered to send me the invites to my own showers.  I have gotten them after the fact, but not through the mail.  I'd just ask if she sent them out, since its your SIL I don't think that's a big deal.

    I would just come out and ask her.

    I'd just bring it up. You could even say "hey I didn't get my invitation in the mail yet" and if she says "oh I didn't send you one, did you want one" then you know she mailed them, and you can cover by saying something like "oh i was hoping to get one for my scrapbook". If she says "no I haven't mailed them" then ask her when she planned on doing it and kinda hint that it's not that far away.

    Sounds good! I got one for my other shower so I guess I was just thinking they would send me one. Not sure why I assumed that. My other SIL is helping too so I can ask her. I just didn't want to come across pushy.

    If you're worried about it just ask your sister in law.

    My sister is throwing me a shower for saturday, she didn't get invites out until monday. Little less than a weeks notice for guest. Kind of annoying but at least most of the guests are aunts and will be coming anyway, but the friends I wanted invited probably wont make it. What are you going to do?

    Just ask, you'll feel better about it. :)
