4 cm dilated and 90% effaced

Ugh.

I feel like I'll never go into labor! Every time my contractions start, they slow and stop withing 6-12 hours. I went to my doctor appointment today, and he told me to go to the hospital if I had contractions 5-7 minutes apart since my cervix is so favorable. He said "first time moms don't generally walk around at 4 cm dilated." Of course I'm going to be the anomaly.

Plan for tonight: Shopping, sex, treadmill, stairs, shower.

If that doesn't get it going, I give up.

I walked around 4 cm and 90% for over a week. I had to be induced. The good thing is that I went into it with so much progress already I had a GREAT induction experience. No horror story here.

So hopefully if you don't go on your own, you'll be able to have a successful induction.

i've been that way ( 4 cm 90% effaced) for almost 3 weeks now. i was hoping since this is my third i would ge a little early. as you can see by my ticker...i haven't Crying
