Our dinner tonight:
Hot dogs (organic all-beef, nitrate-free, and on whole wheat buns...but hot dogs nonetheless.)
Mac and cheese (from a box, but it's the Annie's stuff and made with organic butter and organic plain yogurt instead of milk- but dude, it's still from a box.)
Brussel sprouts roasted w/olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Our entire meal is one big contradiction tonight, eh? LOL
Re: Haha, speaking of food...
lol.
We are having homemade macaroni & cheese and a chicken dish. Broccoli for a veggie. (oh and homemade bread).
Hell, after all of the 'good food' discussions today, we are having a Stouffer's chicken lasagna and green beans. Not organic, not homemade. Oops.

we had beef stew that i made with beef, fresh veggies, beef stock and seasoning. i'm not sure where in the realm of heathy it lands. but it's pretty good on a cold winter night.
? I kind of feed my kids like my mom fed us maybe just out of habit. i think it falls somewhere in between what's really good for you and what's really bad for you.
I haven't noticed that, but to be honest it's been so long since we've had the regular Kraft kind that I kind of forget what it tastes like to really make a comparison.
I don't know if the variety makes a difference, but my ds is really picky and will only eat the Annie's in the purple box (shells and white cheese- won't touch the yellow cheese kind, LOL.) I also sub plain yogurt for the milk- makes it much richer, creamier and a bit more tangy.
