1. Do you have a theme for your nursery?
2. If not, do you have a color scheme?
I'm trying to make baby quilts to sell and I want to know what the most popular themes/ colors are for baby nurseries. We did DS's nursery with a train theme, but I'd like to know what others are popular these days, especially for girls, since I don't have one.
Re: Question about your nursery- need lots of opinions
yes, winnie the pooh. when hes to old for pooh, it is cream, sage green and choco brown
We don't have a theme. This is our bedding. We did the paint like in the picture, but ivory above the brown stripe.

His bedding has some animals on it, but I wouldn't consider it a theme. His room is a blueish grey with a brown strip.

I'm not a theme person, so I'm having our girl's stuff custom made on etsy with some fabrics I liked.
We have a subtle woodlands theme, nothing too matchy matchy though.
The colors are blue, brown, white, and green accents. You can see pictures here (still in progress):

I've had a really hard time finding cute boys nursery items that aren't transportation related, jungle related, or based on a commercial character. So, I'd say there's a definite market need for something outside of that box (that doesn't cost a fortune).
His bedding is deer themed, and we have the matching pictures. Other than that, we just did brown, green and ivory/cream.

I'm using more yellow in the walls and planning to include an orange dresser..
Levi 4.21.10
DD's theme is Beatrix Potter
DSs theme is sports
my mother quilts too and made all of DDs bedding; there wasnt any baby-friendly material to make DSs so we just bought a set from JCP
DS's was light blue, dark blue, and white. There wasn't really a theme, but we did use some stars for decoration and a "twinkle twinkle..." wall quote.
Baby girl's nursery is light purple, dark purple, pink, green. There isn't a theme, there are flowers and stripes in the fabric.
No and no.
Our bedding is Skip Hop Mod Dots, so there are a lot of colors we can work with. The walls are neutral. The only "theme" we have going is the style of furniture which is pretty modern and streamlined. Square lines, clean corners, bright colors. Nothing is really matchy though.
