How my laziness has kept me healthy

I dont drink a lot of Diet Coke, but, if it is around, I will drink it.

Well, we have a case of Diet Coke in the basement. I have not had a Diet Coke in a week because I have been too lazy to go down and get it.

Seriously.

  • Hey, what ever works! But you have 2 kids...send one of them.

  • Gawd. I never thought of that......
  • I have to keep pop on hand for my inlaws, and if it's in the house I drink it.  I started keeping it in the garage and it keeps it out of sight, out of mind.  I totally understand.  Thankfully if I haven't had it in a few months, the cravings go away.

  • How have you never thought of this?  I do it to dd all the time.

"Hey, dd.  I'm going to count to three and then you run upstairs into my bathroom and see how fast you can bring my phone to me.  I'll time you."

"Hey dd.  I'm going to count to three and then you put all those books that your brother just pulled out back in the shelf.  I'll time you."

Works like a charm.  I figure by the time she wises up, DS will fall for it.

Mattslady, Oh how I love thee...

I used to do that with DD now that you mention it, but it would be something along the lines of:

"hey DD, I bet you cant go really fast into mommy's room and get her cigs/dugout/blunt"

    Or

"Hey dd, bet you are too slow to get up and go get mommy a beer out of the fridge"

I had long since forgotten about all of that, and now, DS is the PRIME age. Woot!

  • Off-topic, but you once emailed me a whole slew of WW crockpot recipes, right? I'd love them again, if you wouldn't mind. Also, which ones are must-tries, in your experience? Thanks, melly:)
