Home remedies for earache?

I have an earache and wondering if anyone has any home remedies or suggestions for an earache. Other I guess its a dr visit. =(

Re: Home remedies for earache?

  • Hydrogen peroxide or stick a clove of garlic in your ear overnight.  I saw both of these on Dr. Oz and supposedly they work!  :)  Hope you feel better soon!

  • Yes thank you. Why didn't I check Dr. Ozs website?  thanks. I will try.
  • Warm olive oil on a cotton ball used to help my son.  We also bought dissolvable homeopathic tablets and Euchinechea (don't think I'm spelling that right) but you would def need to check with your dr to see if that's ok to use while pregnant.  Good luck I know they are miserable!!!
  • rubbing alcohol on a q tip helped mine a few weeks ago.

  • I'm from a family with tons of earaches and I was always the ear infection kid in school...

Heat is usually the best thing for 'em... try lying on your side with a heating pad on the ear... low heat.

  • There are ear drops you can buy at the drug store for ear aches. I've used them and they work for me. Hope you feel better.
