I am not super cutesy girly and remember with my DS that a diaper bag ended up pretty much replacing my carrying a purse. With that said I'm leaning towards ones like Storksak sells, because from the outside they look like designer bags, but from the inside they have all the compartments, etc. you like in a diaper bag.
Anyone have any other suggestions of brands I could look at and where to find them? The cheapest Storksak bag I've found is $158, which is not bad since it's going to serve both the purse and diaper bag purpose.
TIA!
Re: I want a diaper bag that doubles as a designer purse - Storksak???
We are on a tight budget because with insurance/new job changes it's costing us $4450 more than expected to give birth to LO. So I've been trying to find something...anything that I actually like. I've looked at hundreds of diaper bags online...lol!
I came across timi & leslie bags last night and I've got in narrowed down to 2 bags, I just can't decide what bag I like best. They range from $125 - 400, but I've found a lot on clearance with some as low as $50.
Check out the custom made bags at 1154 Lill Studio. The Susan bag is the one I ordered. VERY well made and you can choose your own fabric. Plus, they look great for when baby grows up and you don't need a diaper bag. The website is:

I bought a Juicy Couture diaper bag on ebay - it was a factory second because it was missing half of the ribbon tie at the top of the bag - I sewed my own black ribbon on it and got it for a steal. They still have this one on their website and it retails for $298. Or if you stalk eBay you can probably find a good deal like I did!
I hate the Kate Spade bags for diaper bags. Not enough pockets and nothing fits right. But I love them for work bags.
I totally forgot how much I loved their bags.
Check out mamabargains.com and babysteals.com. I bought a couple bags from there for super cheap.

My hostesses got me the nest quilted black bag. It's really cute in person, everyone really liked it. Definitely looks like a purse but has good compartments.
I totally fell in love with the Tim & Leslie Aurelie II bag. It's close enough to looking like a real bag, cause I really don't want to be walking around with cartoon characters on what i'll be using as a purse. And they aren't too expensive.
This web site has a good selection. https://www.tinytruffles.com/
Thanks so much for all your suggestions! I may have found a hook up through one of my friends. Her friend has a store in Alabama that somehow involves getting discontinued styles on designer bags, sunglasses, etc. for cheap - AND they have Storksak! She's supposed to email me some pics of the bags she has. If that doesn't work out - you guys have given me LOTS of great ideas and places to look!
Thanks again! What a relief to know I won't have to carry some vinyl ugly something or cutesy bag that doesn't fit my personality. You still have to be you when you're Mommy!
