But seriously, if I look at the list with my c/section date, I'm at #5
We have a lot of moms due in the first half of March!
It's starting to seem real. The swing is up and running, the crib is useable. It took us an hour and a half last night, including 30 mins with a 4 yo "helping", so probably an hour of real work, to put the crib itself together. Now, we have the underbed drawer to assemble, and I have to put the crib skirt on and get the monitor into place. We have the Angelcare monitor, which comes with a movement-sensing pad for under the mattress, so we have to get it in and then build the mattress, bedding etc around it. I LOVE this monitor and cannot say enough good things about it.
I've had a busy week as far as Libby is concerned. I had to go to L&D on Saturday night because she wasn't moving much. It turns out I was contracting regularly, which sometimes causes baby to move less. Three hours and a shot of terbutaline later, they sent me home, and I've been contracting ever since, but with no real change. I have an appt today, so I'll be happy to find out if anything is happening. I hope not! They don't stop labor after 35w, so if I were to go back today, I would basically just walk into a c/section,and none of us are ready for that.

When I was doing the list today and saw your name behind I mine I was thinking that your ticker said you were ahead of me. I was confused. lol. So when I looked again I saw about your scheduled c-section on March 2nd. Since I know you will go ahead of me (because unless I go into labor on my own I'll have my c-section on the 9th because of some confusion regarding my due date) I moved you in front of me.
I figured we don't know if you'll go before the others or not so I'm going to leave it at that.
I hope your appt today goes well!! Let us know how it goes.

TGI Thursday! The w/e is almost here! The last few weeks my life has been consumed with my dad, who has been in ICU for almost 3 weeks now. This was a really good week for him...progress has been VERY slow but he was finally taken off the ventilator and is talking, which we all could not wait for! He is still very weak but his spirits are high and his heart (which is what he went in for), appears to being doing well.
Anyway....I am finally smiling again and looking forward to seeing him improve more as I get closer to my due date....hopefully enough so that he is able to hold LO when he or she arrives!

I started back to school, and I'm having the hardest time staying awake in the class that starts at 7 and ends at 9:45. I jokingly told the teacher on day one, that if I fall asleep, it's no reflection on her, and last night I almost did (and she could have something to do with it)
We are moving in 2 weeks, so we are starting to pack
I'm glad that your dad is doing better. I know that's been a big stress for you!
Wow, it sure is getting close! I've been reading up on hypnobirthing and I'm sure my ob thinks, "Oh no, you're one of THOSE!" Actually, she's the one who recommended that method when I brought up natural childbirth and she is great
The nursery is painted and this weekend I will go to BRU and do the registry completion. Then, we can get everything set up. The basement is under construction, but that's okay.
I feel good, just very, very, very BIG and tired all.the.time.
Hi! I don't really have anything to report, still not feeling much in the way of symptoms. This rotten cold I have is sort of smothering any other things I may be feeling - ugh.
I see I am at the very bottom of the list - October sure feels like a long way off!!

I'm due NEXT MONTH!!!! AAAHHHHHHH!!! We're so not ready...nursery's not done, we don't have the car seat, etc. This is going to be a busy month...
I'm just getting over a cold that DH brought home from work to me. Yay. Thankfully, it's just a head cold, no symptoms below the neck, so it hasn't been too horrible. But I'm looking forward to getting my nose skin back!
I had an OB appointment today. No weight gain the past 2 weeks but he was okay with that. He said I'm measuring okay and everything else looks good. He's going on vacation, so I won't see him until 35 weeks and he wants to do an internal then...ugh! Next week I have an u/s with the specialist, though, so we're looking forward to seeing our little guy again!

Went to appt. today, nothing really happening just some movements. Next appt in 2 weeks and another ultrasound on the 22nd to check on growth due to GD. Blood sugars still being controlled with diet which means they will let me go to 40 weeks but not after.

just wanted to start out by saying thanks shannon for all the hard work you've done the past couple months on keeping the check in and i look forward to seeing scoobym starting as well.
as for me i'm starting to feel the LO more and more which is nice. i attempted to go into BRU the other day and was so overwhelmed.
I haven't updated in a bit but we're doing well here! We found out over the holidays that we're having another baby BOY!!!! So excited! We didn't find out the first time so it is fun to do it the other way around this time.
Hope everyone else is feeling well and hanging in there!
Shannon, what's up with your due date? Are they moving it on you?
I know that at this point in my pg, I just might harm anyone who told me I had to go longer
LOL! There seems to be some confusing regarding what the u/s have said. They say I'm due Mar15th but according to the first u/s I had my due date was the Mar 9th. But, even if the 15th is correct they will let me go a week early so that still means that I'll deliver on the 9th!
So, I'm ok with that.

You're certainly taking it better than I would. I'm counting the minutes until I'm no longer pregnant.
Worst case scenario, March 9 is only 4 1/2 weeks away! And who knows? Maybe Logan will try to come out on his own before that
