Babies: 9 - 12 Months

I'm scared of crawling.

Right now, he's shuffling along, rolling across the room - going after the laptop, the cable box, my shoes, EVERYTHING!

And god help me, he's not even crawling yet.

I'm scared.

Re: I'm scared of crawling.

  • I know!...hence why I wasn't too excited when he started doing it. lol

  • Loading the player...
  • That's exactly why I'm not in a hurry for him to crawl. That, and I haven't bought a gate yet.

  • I know...DD is "drag crawling" now and she goes right for the TV and wants to pull down the cable box, dvd player, and all the dvd's.  I'm lucky that she is slow.  She will wait until I'm not looking and go right for it.  I will say no and she looks back at me and laughs.  Well, that's just great...she's mocking me already :)

  • it's actually pretty cool. DD was so frustrated before she crawled because she couldn't get anywhere. Once she started crawling I could put her in the kitchen with me and she would explore and I could do stuff. But, for the longest time DD really wouldn't leave the room we were in. She just started about a month ago getting really adventurous and going off on her own.
