Shower hostess gift

My sister is hosting my baby shower in just over two weeks at my aunt's house. I've got to get on the ball with the gifts. I've heard of people giving gift certificates and scented candles. What other ideas do you have? I want to get something for my sister for planning and throwing the shower, but I also want to get something for my aunt for allowing us to use her home. Thanks!

I sent my sister a big vase of flowers the day before the shower. I thought it was a way of thanking her and helping her decorate at the same time!

I would like to spend around $30 each. I know that's not much considering she's putting together a nice shower, but it's what we can afford right now.

I got all of mine Willow Trees and I think they really loved them! There are cute smaller ones that say Thank You, I got my step sister a Sisters by Heart one or something and moms the Grandmother one.

I did the Willow Tree thing too. When my SIL threw my shower I gave her a small jewelry/misc. box with the 'thank you' angel on it and when my mom threw a shower I gave her the 'grandmother' one. Both seemed to really like them.

I would get her something you think she'll like. My mom and best friend co-hosted my shower. I got my mom a basket of sewing supplies since I know how much she loves to sew. I got my bff a gift certificate to a nice make up store so she could treat herself to something since she's been aching to do that but doesn't have the extra cash. So I would think about what they like and get something specific to them.

i got mine baby block salt & pepper shakers and a beautiful decorative bottle. it had a bird cameo tied with a ribbon around the neck.
