Daycare Party

So yesterday daycare sends home a note saying they are having a Valentines Party and asks that each child come with a treat for everyone. What can I make/take for kids between the ages of 6-12 months? Do I just take baby food? Puffs? I asked them and they said just send something that my child would eat and that should cover it. I have no clue what to send. Suggestions?

    mum mums?  Applesauce is a good idea too.  Wagon wheels?  That's hard for an infant room when everyone is on a different stage of food.

    We get these notes too, but I don't send treats, and they don't do treats in our classroom.  The notes are just a generic note that goes in every kid's bag for all the classes.

    For kids that age, I don't think they should be sharing treats.  I would be pissed if I found out that my kid was given something that I didn't send for her.  A lot of kids that age are just starting foods and some parents are more cautious about what to give than others (i.e. starting finger foods, wheat, dairy, meat, etc.).
