when to call the doc?

in 3rd Trimester
I started having light spotting this afternoon. When I say light, I mean 5 very small drops. This is my first time and I'm not sure if I should just continue to watch it or if I should call my doc. I'm not having any other problems and my lo is moving like usual. I have not had any recent exams and no recent sex. Advice please. Thanks ladies.

    i would call the doctor - it never hurts to call - call the office, talk to the nurses, they may page the doctor to ask him what he/ she thinks. Keep an eye on baby's movements. It is unusual to have spotting like that out of the blue. And 32 weeks is too early for the little one to come... You are not having any regular contractions, are you? Vomiting, diarrhea-like stools can also be a sign of impending labor, so keep that in mind. Keep hydrated, get some rest. Call the doctor. Good luck!
