Do these count as first steps??

I think DD just took her first steps!  She was standing holding onto the couch and I held my arms out to her.  She took a step and then sort of fell into my arms.  I yelled for DH and he came in.  She got back up in the same spot and I held my arms out again.  She took 3 steps before falling and I caught her.  Does that count?  First steps are usually only a few like that, right?
