Skipping the bottle?

Have any of you EBFers skipped the bottle for feeding expressed breast milk and gone straight to the cup/sippy cup? 

LO took a bottle in the early days (he was in the NICU), but since 2 weeks he has been EBF - no bottles. We just recently offered him a bottle and he wasn't interested.

I'm hoping to have a date night in the near future and would like LO to take expressed milk in some form.

Any tips for moving directly to a cup/sippy? What kind did you use?

    We didn't but it's not uncommon.  I would try something like the Nuby cup with the really soft spout and just give it to your LO to play with.  Once he gets it into his mouth and chews a bit he may realize that milk comes out and start to get the hang of it.  Also if you haven't tried already make sure to have your DH try a bottle when you're out of the house.  It's not unusual for a LO to refuse a bottle when the real thing is right next to him.

    DS has never taken a bottle...he, to this day, straight up refuses one.

    We introduced a sippy cup around 4 months and practiced with him on it every day. Now he can drink from it with no help at all. We use the Nuby brand.
