My son is 13 weeks and I've decided to be a stay at home mom. I would really like to find other moms in Columbus with little ones that would like to get together somewhere to chat and let the babies interact. I know there is gymboree in Columbus but I don't want to spend a lot of money to meet people.

Depending on what part of Columbus you are in...there's one in Granville (so if you're in New Albany, it would be about 20 minutes) at the Library's COmmunity Room every Thursday at 3pm. It's called Bouncing Babies, it's for 0-24 mos - it's free, and the person who started it has a daughter who's about 10 months old. She's a teacher in Granville schools but took this year off to be with her daughter. I've only been able to go a couple times, but I really enjoyed it - it's been a smallish group - 5 or 6 moms - and we sing, hear stories, play with bubbles, but mostly the babies play (or watch the others play, mine isn't crawling yet and wasn't sitting up at the time we went)
