Home Day Care

Is anyone familiar with family/group home day care in East Grand Rapids/ Easttown area? We've looked at a few that we like but of course the one I like the best is $50 more a week than the one I like second best.  Just wondering if anyone has had any great or bad experiences. Thanks!

    i'm not but i was looking for some home day care centers.... what ones did you look into? and how much did they cost?

    I'm not familiar with childcare in East Grand Rapids. However I am a infant/toddler teacher in Sparta/Kent City area at a Childcare Center. Feel free to bounce questions off me if you would like. I have been in the business for 10 years.

    I know $50 may seem like a lot now, however childcare isn't something taken lightly especially with an infant.  Our price for an infant is 150.00.

     I am due in May, but thankfully will be able to bring my daughter with me.

    Just curious...I haven't started looking at daycare yet, but am having twins. Do most places charge double the $150 or do you get a break at all?

    No for our Center we do not charge double. I wouldn't imagine others would either. Usually it's called the second kid discount. It's not that much of a break due to them both being infants, and infant/toddler ratio is 1 to 4.

    Our price would be $285 for your twins. However I know that we are very reasonable compared to other centers.
