Anyone still holding on to their pre-pg pants??

I'm desperately holding on to mine! :(  I keep trying rubberbands and my "fat" jeans, almost past the point of being comfortable.  I guess I'm worried about getting into maternity pants too quick compared to pg girls I know at home.  But on here, I feel so free to try on my maternity pants! :)  I guess it's whatever you feel most comfortable in that matters.  Anyone else in my boat??

  • I am.  I don't quite fit into my maternity pants yet so it's the ol' rubberband, for now.

  • I was so sick of maternity by the time I had DD I know better than to hurry it this time.  With DD I had a hard time buttoning my pants by about 10 weeks so I jumped right into maternity.

This time I will try everything else before I have to switch.  I am still really comfy in my clothes so I hope I can go longer.  I just hated having a limited wardrobe.

  • Still in my regular jeans here.  Some days they fit ok (a bit snug) and some days it's Bella Band all day (those days are the majority lately!)
  • I'm newly pregnant this go round, but I found it more comfortable to wear my regular jeans when I was pregnant with DS than the maternity jeans.  I was in my regular jeans the day I went into labor.
  • I'm still in my pre-preggo clothes. I have bought one pair of jeans, and think I'd better go shopping soonish. I'll be 13 weeks tomorrow. I still don't really have a bump
  • Still in my regular jeans.  They only become uncomfortable in the evening after dinner.  I was wearing some maternity pants/shorts by 12 weeks with DS, so I pulled the tub out and have maternity jeans on standby.
  • I'm still in my regular jeans with the beband but I'm going to have to but them to rest soon. I am bloated beyond belief. My love handles have love handles. Indifferent
  • I am I didn't switch over until 12 weeks last time.  I'm hoping for the same this time - we'll see. My pre prego pants still fit well and are comfy that and i would get questions that I'm not ready to answer if i showed up to work in maternity clothing...

  • When you wear the rubberband or beband -- do your button areas kinda pouch out a bit?  Mine does, so I feel like it draws more attention sometimes.  I find that my lower-waisted jeans do okay (I wear jeans daily to work, so no lounge pants for me-poo!), but I have a few pair that hit closer to my belly button -- I'm trying to avoid those as they get too tight too early.  I don't think sitting at a computer all day for work help much either.
  • I'm still squeezing into them, but instead of using a rubber band (I'm afraid the zipper will slip down), I'm thinking of trying to wind a doubled strand of yarn through the loophole and the top of the zipper and see how that works.  I'm trying to save as much as I can on clothes so that I can spend it on the "bean" when he/she gets here!!!

  • I'm so glad to hear I'm not the only one bloated around week 8.  I'm wearing a combo of both, I'm mortified to have to be in maternity pants at 8 weeks, but at least when I sit at my desk all day, I'm not dying!  I only bought a pair of black ones and jeans, and then I bought a belliband so I could wear my other clothes.  I also found that I wear mostly form fitting shirts, so I went to Lane Bryant where I knew they would have some cute tops that weren't "maternity", and found a few things that fit.  I'm normally a size 10, so they are a bit big, but they are hiding the bloat nicely without having to wear the traditional maternity shirts.

  • I'm still wearing pre-pregnancy pants. I think 2 pairs of jeans are totally off limits now, but the rest are much stretchier, and I have no problem walking around with them unbuttoned all day. I'll wear them as long as humanly possible.

  • Im rubberbanding it and bought some cute flowy tops. Everything I have is fitted and i have big ole bloat belly that grosses me out. I cant stand looking fat. Looking pregnant, I would be fine with, but I hate just looking like I have a gut and don't know how to buy clothes that fit.
  • I'm still wearing my pre-pregnancy pants, some in a size larger, and definitely with the bella band for the past 2 weeks or so.  I jumped right into medium maternity pants last time so I was happy to find out that they were a little big :-) (I gained 50 lbs last time!)
  • some of shirts are starting to pucker in the boobies-land, but all of my pants fit fine.
