S/O mesh underwear... random and odd thought...

I know this is a weird thought but it got me thinking... I have heard so many great things about the mesh undies they give you to wear at the hospital. However, if they are the same ones they give you after having a d&c they suck. I remember them not holding the crappy pad they gave me in place and having to fix it several times. Maybe it was the pad? IDK...

I have heard so many people say how fantastic they are so I am hoping it was me doing something wrong and I will love them this time...

  • I am taking my own undies - they can keep their mesh ones!  The whole thought of the mesh ones kinda grosses me out.  Probably taking me own pads too, because I am a little picky about that kind of thing!

  • I love the mesh undies!!!!
  • They really helped me because they were comfortable and I didn't want to mess up my own underwear, but I had to change them constantly.  The pad would slip.

  • mine were boyshorts as well and the pads they provided granted felt like diapers but at the same time they absorbed like crazy! Im not willing to ruin my undies so i will be using theirs!!!

  • I'm still trying to picture in my mind what mess undies look like without thinking porn star.....haha
  • I loved the mesh undies!! My pad was more of a diaper so I needed the huge mesh undies to hold it in.
  • The ones I had were like a soft cotton mesh, very thin. The pad they gave me did nothing and did not stick. I remember having to change it or else I had blood running down my leg. They were not comfortable and did not fit at all. I think I am just planning to bring the ones I have been wearing the past few months. I hate them because they are so large (yet comfortable) right now but am definitly ready to have my old ones back.
  • I hated them.  I bought a cheap pack of hanes to wear

  • They were "okay". Good enough to not go out and buy my own.

  • Bring a pack of Depends for postpartum.  You won't leak all over everything, and can just throw the mess away.  Much more comfortable than dealing with a huge thick pad, too.

Exactly what I was told as well!!!  My sister hated the mesh underwear, and now our hospital doesn't give them out anymore anyway, and she said the depends were sooooooo much better!
