Activity - Boy Scouts. My brothers & I were all Scouts, our parents were involved, & it was the most fantastic thing ever. I'd love to be a Den Leader when he's in Cub Scouts.
Sport? eh, I don't have any say on that. Nate's already picked out Harrison's first set of golf clubs. But otherwise, I'd love for him to play football or basketball.
Softball, dance and some sort of music (singing or instrument, although if she takes after me or DH she will NOT be blessed with the ability to carry a tune).

When she is little: dance and tumbling--- I did this when I was young I LOVED it plus it really helped me to learn how to control my body and increase flexibility which helped me in the long run with sports.
When she is a little older: Basketball and Softball

I hope they'll want to play the piano. I love listening to piano music.. and that would be a good excuse to buy a piano. I can't justify it because I don't think I'll play enough, just me, but if they do too...
And I'd love for them to want to take ballet and hip hop.
But, like DH keeps saying, no more then one activity at a time!
CP 3/07 BFP 5/07 - Kylie born 2/08. BPF 2/09 - Alexandra born 10/09. TTC since 8/13 - diagnosed difficulty conceiving due to LP defect. Took vitamin B and Vitex Berry to help lengthen. BFP 2/14 - Missed M/C found at 8.5 weeks. D&C at 9w2d. Partial Molar Pregnancy. BFP 11/14
Golf (right handed) and baseball (left handed, so according to DH, he doesn't screw up his swings) and I hope that he wants to show horses for a while with my dad. I think my dad is really looking forward to when B is old enough to sit up there and do leadline at the local shows.
I would totally love it if DS wanted to play hockey. That's like, the quintessential Canadian thing for boys to do. I don't care if it's damn expensive, just give me at least 1 year of peewee or something, and I'll be happy.
FI already wants to sign him up for t-ball, haha! I'll take that, too.
Also, every single male in FI's entire family went into Scouts, I'd be happy for that, too!
ETA: one more thing - music! I've been playing the flute, piano, and guitar since I was 8, and FI was a percussionist in his high school band (still counts!), so DS will be introduced to something as soon as he can!
I hope DS will be a runner like DH and I. We direct races and I'm our states representative for the Road Runners Club of America so he may get sick of it before he can even walk. I hope he'll love it like we do though.

I've volunteered as a coach for Girls on the Run - I hope she participates in that when she's older. Other than that, whatever she wants to do is fine with me, I just want her to be happy. My husband, obviously, wants her to be into golf.
Piano (if she has SO's hands, or at least better ones than mine), soccer, and a language (probably German).
I really strongly believe in the benefits of music education, SO played soccer, and SO and I both speak some German (I used to be fluent but haven't had an outlet for it in over half a decade.)

Hockey like me and Rodeo like his dad. lol to be honest? whatever he enjoys doing.

I also hope he is interesting in DJing, because my husband and 2 nephews are DJs!

FOOTBALL!!! We are huge football fans.
Plus I hope he shows interest in an instrument. DH and I are both pianists and I used to teach piano. I plan on teaching DS.
dh cannot wait until ds is ready for t-ball.
if we have a daughter one day, i'll hope she wants to take dance classes like i did.
we want her to try horseback riding and hopes she enjoys it as much as i did.
music lessons are a must, she can choose her instrument, but she has to play something. dh would lover for her to be a bad-ass bass player like him.
