Ultrasound recording

Do any of your doctors allow the ultrasound to be recorded on a vhs tape or dvd?  It seems that so many people that I talk to have been able to record, but mine doesn't have the capability and I am kind of bummed.  Just wondering what you have experienced.

    Mine does them on VHS...I had them turned into dvds though.

    We got ours recorded on a VHS but haven't gotten it converted yet.  We will get that done soon and send it to his parents since mine are here and happened to have a VHS player...go figure!

    We did have ours recorded,we just had to bring the DVD. Im glad I did it cause I love to watch it but I wouldnt worry if they cant half the time most people cant see what it is anyways. I got frustrated explaining it all to DH!!

    I don't know if my big ultrasound will have that ability (it is at the end of this month) but we will record it with our phones if nothing else. =)

    Yes, my doctor offers to record any of my ultrasound visits on DVD. It's really neat to look back through the recording.

    Mine was on a dvd, it's awesome to be able to look at it all the time!

    Ours didn't, but we just brought the camcorder. :) Of course, DH kept zooming in on my face instead of watching the screen. LOL. we got some good shots though, and were able to hear the U/S tech explain what we were looking at, so we could remember what was what.

    My doctor's office doesn't do this, however I have been to an u/s center (for "entertainment" purposes) and they do it. I think it costs around $100, which is worth it to me.

    We got the NT scan on VHS. Still need to have it converted. Ooh, and I record the heartbeat at each appointment with the voice recorder on my iPhone. That way I can email it to the fam. Yes

    Yep, we got our NT and 20 week scan recorded on a DVD.
