Babies: 3 - 6 Months

Recommend your baby monitor.

Is there such thing as the Angelcare monitor also coming with a video? I guess that's a bit extreme but I really like the idea of each, so why not combine them? Anyway, please recommend your baby monitor...Smile

Re: Recommend your baby monitor.

  • I don't think so, but we have the AngelCare Deluxe and Summer Infant Day and Night video monitor...it's not handheld.  I comes with a mini TV which I think is pretty cool.

  • We use a Fisher Price Sounds n' Lights. Very basic. I don't see the purpose of video monitors or the angelcare. They would probably make me more nervous. Besides that, my baby is the worlds loudest breather and I can hear her breaths with the monitor we have.

someecards.com - I support Newt Gingrich's idea of colonizing the moon if it'll help me get away from Newt Gingrich.

The reason we got the video monitor is because sometimes he cries, but is still asleep.  We were getting up tons at night because of that.  It's definitely not something we'd have to have though.

  • I love my Angelcare. But I agree a video aspect would be nice. We've had 2 "false alarms" and it was because J scooted to the absolute far end of the crib with his face pressed up against the slats.
  • I love the Angelcare...if I didn't have it I would be up all  of the time checking on her, which would be annoying to me and probably more apt to wake her.
  • We have the sony baby call with one receiver. I really like it!(and it's cheap!)

  • I agree with PP about the angelcare, I think it would just make me nervous! We have the Graco Digital Deluxe iMonitor with dual handsets. It's worked great so far!

Ditto!  I bought this for DS back in early 2007 and I still use it and love it for DD...cheap, basic, perfect for us.  The video ones and AngelCare ones would make me a little obssessive compulsive but that's just me.

This exactly.  Except for the loud breathing part :0).
