I have never used a OPK or charted my temp. I'm sticking to the "every other day" method since I can usually tell when I am ovulating.
Does this work or do you really need to have sex more than this?! I've heard so many different things...UGH. I need to stop...
Re: Every other day method?!
"Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all." -- Dale Carnegie
"Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time." --Thomas A. Edison
How, pray tell, can you usually tell when you're ovulating?
Yes, OPKs do work.
Just be aware that CM doesn't always = ovulation
If DH is good have sex, and lots of it. (I'm a sex pusher but its one fun way to get KU)

We use the e/o/day method and became pregnant first cycle three times. We begin at the very end of AF and go until she arrives (which, for us, she didn't.)
But everyone is different. If there are no known sperm issues, you can have sex every day. I just personally needed those days off, and I think after a while, so did DH.
True. I've had EWCM and negative OPKs.

As long as you have sex at some point during your fertile window you can get pregnant. You don't have to have sex every single day of it. It only takes one sperm!
Edit: Stupid bump made me double post!
I have EWCM at different points throughout my cycle. Ive also had it during cycles that I didnt ovulate. You cant pinpoint O just from CM.

I think the monitor is pretty foolproof. I'd have sex every day during a peak time, since as far as we know, DH's sperm is ok.
Arg, I'm sorry, I quoted the wrong person. Meant to quote OP. I would acutally USE a monitor, then have sex every day.
I guess I'm just kinda lazy to chart and use the monitors and all that jazz. I'm thinking I want to try it the old fashion way for awhile. It's been over 6 months, but I have to blame that on my cycle being way off. I had to kick start it with provera, then had a natural m/c last month. My mom always tells me that when she had me, nobody ever "tried" to get pregnant...lol!
Fingers crossed
What about if I have a 35 day cycle? Does that throw it off?
