Dinner suggestions with chicken breast

I took chicken breast out, and really had no indication of what to do with them when i took them out. I only knew I wanted chicken lol. So Now what? Give me some easy peasy recipes. I am not going back to the store today so hopefully youll name something with ordinary pantry items ;) TIA!

  • Mix 1 cup parm cheese, italian dressing mix packet and 1 T onion powder together and coat chicken.  Bake for 1 hour at 350.

Very yummy and easy!  Since DH can't do gluten this is my shake and bake recipe normally.

  • Flatten it, stuff it and roll it in breadcrumbs or cornmeal and bake.  I stuff mine sometimes with salsa, green chilies cilantro & cheese or sometimes with sauteed onions & spinach & parmesean.

You just pound the chicken breast flat between 2 pieces of saran wrap, stuff it, roll it up and secure with toothpicks and then roll in breadcrums...or you could just leave it plain.  Bake it at 375 for about 20 min.  Delicious!

  • You could always chop it up and add to some veggies with noddles or rice and oriental sauce for some quick and easy stir fry.
  • Grill it w/ bbq sauce

Boil it, shred it, then use it to make chicken quesedillas

You could also cut them into chicken tenders, dip the chicken in egg, roll it in a mixture of either flower and bread crumbs, or flower and French's crunchy onions, and then either bake them or cook them in a pan w/ some olive oil. A healthier version of fried chicken...

I second the Italian dressing... it's a great marinade.

Just a few thoughts off the top of my head.

  • I bake mine in oven with 1 can of cream of chicken, 1 can cream of mushroom and about 3/4 cup milk salt and pepper... makes a nice jucy chicken in white sauce... I believe I do oven at 350 for an hour and 20.

This sounds yummy with some rice.

  • My husband says that all I cook is chicken.  Depending what you've got in your panty, but here are a couple of ideas:

Fajitas, a little taco seasoning or salsa added to the meat, then wrap it in a fajita with cheese, sour cream, lettuce, tomatoe and onions

Chicken Parm- coat the chicken with bread crumbs, bake it and then top it with cheese, serve with spaghetti and sauce

If you have some vegetables and either cream of mushroom or chicken soup, cook the chicken in a pan, add the soup and then add the veggies.  Serve it over rice and it's yummy.  I use cream of chicken, cream of broccoli and cheese soup.

  • Easiest recipe ever - season with salt, pepper, chili powder, cumin. Put in a baking dish and pour a jar of salsa mixed with some cream over them. Bake. https://mecookingcreations.blogspot.com/2009/08/creamy-salsa-chicken.html
