SSN -- when did you get it?

I feel like we got Natalie's SSN by now. Claire will be 2 mo. old this week and we still haven't received it. I just realized I need it to do our taxes. Do you recall it taking this long?

We got the baby's about 2 weeks ago. I thought it took longer too but there were 3 holidays in between her birth and its arrival for us... I'd bet you have it soon.

We got M's when she was around 10 weeks old. I'm sure you will get it soon!

It took at least 12 weeks for us. I remember b/c I got his passport photo done at 2 months and then had to wait and wait for the SSN so we could apply. It should come in a few more weeks!

I remember it was 11 weeks because I said if it went past 12 I would call!

My son was born Dec. 4, so I've been looking for his, too, because I want to do my taxes. I went to the Social Security Web site and for babies born the last half on 2009 in N.C.,, it takes on average 11 weeks, which is the longest in the country. Most other states have a processing time of 4, 5 or 6 weeks.
