James is on a total vegetable strike-- he won't eat any at all, in any form (pureed or chopped up pieces as finger foods).
He*will* eat fruit, just not veggies, but all he really wants to eat all day is cheese and Cheerios. Thank goodness he seems to have outgrown his dairy allergy.
I'm really concerned about him not getting a balanced diet. If I feed him more fruit, does that help balance out the lack of veggies at all? Any other suggestions?
Thanks!
Re: He won't eat any vegetables
My DD won't really eat veggies either, besides broccoli (with cheese on it, though). My Pedi said that as long as she's getting a vitamin daily then that'll take care of the nutrition you get from veggies, until she is 2.
Just keep offering them to him ... I pretty much just buy a can of green beans, or peas, knowing I'll waste them ... but I don't want to give up on offering them to her.
