Do you want more kids?

I am jumping the gun here, but it is something I think about.

I always wanted my kids 2 years apart and wanted 2 at the least and 4 at the most.

With H leaving, I have no idea when I will be in a serious relationship again, or ata apoint of having anymore kids.

I would be okay with them being 4 or 5 years apart,but I'm not sure that if dd was 7 or 8 that I would have anymore. Just the thought of this makes me so sad! Not that kids being that far apart are bad...I'm just not sure it would be right for me.

Then again, the future is unpredictable, and I don't know what will happen.

Though the quiet time during dds nap, or the 30 minutes my mom will keep her, all I do is think!

I absolutely want more kids but will only do so if I am in a mature and stable relationship. If I do find this I want two more minimum and I would want them anywhere from 12 to 20 months apart. I really liked the difference in ages between my DDs and wouldnt have minded if they were closer together. Basically, I want as many children I can afford financially and emotionally. I would also love to adopt as I am adopted.

As of right now I am totally content with just DD. I would be happy to meet someone who had his own kids (maybe even sole custody of them!!). Who knows, if I meet someone my feelings might change.

As of right now, I can't see myself with more children. I am not opposed to having them years apart (DD and DS are 8 yrs and 10 months apart), but I am 36, so if I do change my mind, I would like to have another before 8 years passes. I still have all of my parts in working order, just in case. (Geesh, that sounded really corny) Stick out tongue

I would love a chance at a normal singleton pregnancy. Maybe in a few years if I find someone I want to be with, and we want another baby.

Right now I think I will want more, but ask again when the second gets here. I will only have another if I am married and the relationship is happy, healthy, and stable.

Absolutely! I didn't get to enjoy being pg with DS because of douchebag so I would love to have a chance at it again, at least once!

I'm an only child so I'm content just having DS being my one and only. HOwever, if I meet someone that doesn't have kids or I end up getting married and we decide to have a child together then I'm not opposed to the idea. I will admit, I LOVED being pregnant. I'm one of the weirdos that thinks maternity clothes are kinda cute. Embarrassed

I would like to have a child- but I would do it the "right" way the next time. I would love to have a child with someone I am going to spend the rest of my life with. If it is not in the cards to have another that is okay, too. I'm not going to dwell just continue to put my all into my LO I already have.

I wanted more when I was with the H, but now that we are split up, no. I am broken up inside because I just don't feel like I am done having kids, but I need to be. I will be 35 y/o this year and already have 3 kids from 2 different men, I really don't want to add a 3rd Dad to the mix.

Probably...but I haven't even had my first yet! If I do it won't be for many years so there would be a big age difference. For now I just will focus on my child and whatever happens in the future happens. Before I got married I saw myself with 2 or 3 kids but for now I don't have any problem with DC being the only one.
