Ok I have a 2.5 lb roast, carrots & an onion & am picking up potatoes tonight after work. Now... should I add Chicken Broth or another kind of broth/liquid to it... Typically I make the roast with a homemade BBQ sauce & leave it overnight so it falls apart & it's awesome. I thought I would do it a little differently... any ideas? I have beef broth & various "cream of" condensed soups too. I was thinking chicken would be best, but thought I would throw it out there to you ladies & see if I get some good ideas on that & maybe other things to add to it.
aaaaaaaaaand GO!

cream of mushroom, maybe?
when i make a roast, i add a packet of lipton's beefy onion soup mix and like, 1 c of water.
I found a can of string beans also & was thinking of tossing those in about 10 minutes before serving. Not sure if that would be good or not though since they are canned & already mushy. & the best part if everything cooking together for prime flavor fest. hmmmmm.
