Sick Baby...
Abby started having a running nose a couple of weeks ago (right after she started daycare-joy!). By Thursday of last week she was coughing and had a raspy-ness to her cough. We went to the doctor and they said her lungs were clear, but went ahead and tested her for RSV which came back negative. They sent us home and told me to keep her nose clear and if she ran a fever to give tylenol. We've done that and I've done the Vick's on socked feet....the humidifier....the whole shibang. She ran a low fever on friday, but since then hasn't had one.
My question is...how long do I wait before I take her back to the doctor? I hate seeing her sick and I need to work!

Oh no! Poor sweet Abby : ( I don't know, I would go with your gut instinct, but I can tell you that Jenna had that for almost 3 weeks straight. I took her to the dr at first (b/c several of the kids in daycare had upper respiratory infections) but she didn't have that. It was just a long lasting crappy cold. If she seems to be getting worse and the fever lasts for several days, I would go back!
I hope she feels better soon!
poor baby! we've been sick here too...Kid started with the runny nose and still coughs occasionally. it's been about 2 weeks. he's not getting any worse, so I'm waiting a couple more days. I hope she feels better soon!!

If she gets any worse or runs a fever for more than a day I'd take her back...bless her heart I hope she feels better soon!
I'm not really sure, b/c with our situation, if Robinson isn't well within 3-5 days, they want to see us back. It might be different for a full termer...i'm not sure.
But I wanted to say that I'm sorry that sweet baby girl is so sick...hope she feels better soon!
