Not with my pregnancy, for some reason, although carbs (especially really sugary ones) make my reflux worse in my daily non-pregnant life. Even cutting carbs for my GD didn't help the heartburn since I've been pregnant.
I actually did notice this. I was taking Zantac 150 3 times a day and if I missed a dose it was killer. Now I take only 1 most days, occasionally 2. Really enjoying that benefit of the GD diet
