Those who have taken Fenugreek...

I started taking it last week right before AF is set to arrive to help with the supply dip I had last time she came.

And thanks for the suggestions ladies, it worked like a charm! We only had about a half a day of fussing/pulling off the breast where last time it was 3 full days. Yea!

So now my question is.... do I continue to take it? Or stop and start again right before AF shows up? What do you do??

    Can I ask - how much do you ladies take per day? The bottle says 1-2 a day but you I thought some of you were taking way more than that before you saw results.....

    I was told it was 3 pills 3 times a day, but I only took it for a short time when Noah was on a nursing strike, so I'm not sure if that's the amount you stay at the whole time or not.

    I only took it when I needed it.  After AF my supply would be back to normal.  I don't remember exactly how many pills I took, just until my BM and I smelled like syrup.  I also drank mother's milk tea.  And at the risk of sounding like a broken record....the LC who helped us through our nursing strike did caution me that Fenugreek can cause a drop in blood sugar.  So if you are taking a large dose per day, please be aware of signs/symptoms that this could be occurring, especially if you are prone to low blood sugar anyway.
