My mom invited DS over for a spend the night party last night.

So DH and I made plans to go out to dinner and go to a movie. Well, after we ate dinner, we were so full that we decided to just pick up a movie from Redbox and take it home, because we wanted to put our pajamas on.

LOL! That is soooo sad and pathetic, but we still had fun.

It was very weird to be at home all night without DS though.

LOL, we would SOOOOO do the same thing. At least you got some alone time, even if it was at home and in jammies.

Totally something we would do too! I love being home with no kiddos... It's only happened a couple times.

Yep, that sounds like our (rare) nights out. I don't find it sad unless we're already yawning during our meal, lol.

Aww, very cool that you got some alone time, even if in jammies:) I would loooove to have someone offer to watch DD overnight. The last time DH and I went out to dinner alone, without DD, was back in May:( It was for our anniversary. So sad. I ask him all the time, b/c my step-mom would babysit and DD loves her and my lil sister (11 y.o.) but there never seems to be any free time for just "us". Good for you guys!!!
