We're not big nn people. DH is Charles and he goes by Charles.

To me it is one of those names that suits a woman better than a child or baby...but you have to get there somehow. I'm sort of on the fence with it.

This is our issue too. Scarlet was my #1 pick for a girls name, but now DH has me 2nd guessing bc if the nn thing... I personally still think it is beautiful

I love it. As for a NN, IMO they aren't necessary. I wish my parents would have called me by my real name instead of a NN for it, because I MUCH prefer my real name. Rebecca vs. Becky.

It's a nice name!

Friends of mine have a little girl named Scarlett - they call her Carly, but it's not a nickname that anyone besides her parents use (just a cute little pet name).
